PURPOSE:To enable a paper to be fed accurately in any mode of feeding, by a construction wherein a clutch is provided between a paper-feeding roll and a driving shaft therefor, and the pressure exerted on the clutch can be changed according to pin feeding and friction feeding. CONSTITUTION:In a printer capable of being switchedly between a pin feeding mode in which the paper is fed by a rotating force of a pinned sprocket 7 and a friction feeding mode in which the paper 8 is clamped between a pressure roll 2 and a feeding roll 1 and is fed by a rotating force of the roll 1, the clutch (a clutch plate, a clutch spring and a changing lever) 4-6 is provided between the feeding roll 1 and the driving shaft 3 therefor so that the pressure exerted on the clutch 4-6 can be selectively set to be weaker in pin feeding and stronger in friction feeding. |
