发明名称 FAULT DECIDING METHOD FOR MICROPROCESSOR
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To decide the faults with each other between two microprocessors by detecting the error signal received by each opposite side and monitoring the state of the opposite side based on the error signal among plural microprocessors. CONSTITUTION:When the 1st and 2nd microprocessors 10 and 11 have no fault, the pulses of L levels, for example, are not outputted from the timer output terminals of the RAM 12 and 13. When the internal counters of both processors 10 and 11 reaches the prescribed values, the LED 20 and 23 are turned off. If the processor has a fault, a pulse of an L level is outputted from the timer output terminal of the RAM 12 and an error detecting circuit 15 produces an error signal. Thus the processor 11 undergos the inhibition of its interruption and the LED 23 is turned on. Thereafter the LED 23 is turned on and at the same time the processor 10 is reset as long as this processor is not reset to a normal state yet.</p>
