<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a composite component of superior strength and toughness under high temperature by forming a structure composed of laminated fiber reinforced ceramic and monolithic ceramic. CONSTITUTION:A laminated composite component 1 is structure of laminated continuous fiber reinforced ceramic 2 and monolithic ceramic 3. A laminated composite component 1 can be manufactured by winding continuous fiber 2a on a monolithic ceramic 3 composed of silicone carbide sintered body, and then impregnating fiber spaces with silicone carbide and composing continuous fiber reinforced ceramic 2 composed of silicone carbide continuous fiber and porous silicone carbide on the outside section. The inner side of the laminated composite component 1 is composed of monolithic ceramic 3 composed of honey silicone carbide sintered body which is strong to compression and shearing strength, while its outside is composed of continuous fiber reinforced ceramic 2 composed of silicone carbide continuous fiber reinforced silicone carbide ceramic which is reinforced to the tensile stress in the circumferential direction, which forms superior strength and toughness.</p> |
