CONSTITUTION:In this control device, a figured mean effective pressure operation means M6 is provided, where the figured mean effective pressure of each cylinder is found by the outputs of a crank angle detecting means M3 and a pressure detecting means M4. And a figured mean effective pressure averaging means M7 is provided, where the average value of the figured mean effective pressure is found for each cylinder. And it is decided whether the operating condition satisfies a specific constant operation condition or not by an operating condition deciding means M8 from the output of a load detecting means M2 and the output of a rotation frequency detecting means 5, and by the result of the decision and the output of the figured mean effective pressure averaging means M7, at least one side of the air-fuel ratio and the ignition timing is decided for each cylinder independently to make the average value of each figured mean effective pressure for each cylinder maximum, and it is output.
