PURPOSE:To perform the purging in the pressure container of a fuel cell with an inexpensive means by guiding part of the steam discharged from the steam separator of a cooling water loop cooling the fuel cell into the pressure container of the fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:Part of the steam 6a separated by a steam separator 6 is guided into a pressure container 1e. A purging steam line 20 is branched from a steam line connecting the steam separator 6 and a heat recovery system 7 and connected to the cell pressure container 1e via a purging steam feed valve 21. The opening of the purging steam feed valve 21 is adjusted so that constant purging steam can be invariably fed to the pressure container 1e. No inert gas such as nitrogen is required, the installation space of the equipment can be shrunk, and the cost can be reduced. |
