PURPOSE:To prevent the burglary of articles and equipment indispensable to be installed in a vehicle by providing a detector for detecting the door opening of the vehicle so as to generate a door open signal, and an alarm generating device for receiving this door open signal so as to generate the alarm that the door is opened. CONSTITUTION:A burglary preventing device X is provided with a switch 1, a storage battery 2, a horn 3 as an alarm generating device, a horn switch 4 fitted to a steering wheel, a door switch 5 as a detector for detecting the door opening of a vehicle, and a door lamp 6 lit by the action of the door switch. The action of the door switch 5 caused by the opening of the door in the 'on' state of the switch 1 equals the pressing of the horn switch 4, so that the horn 3 sounds to warn of the door opening of the vehicle around to prevent burglary. |
