PURPOSE:To reduce load on an internal combustion engine, restrain generation of black smoke caused by shortage of intake amount and improve the start-up performance by adding drive force to the internal combustion engine by the use of an auxiliary accelerator at the time of start-up. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle equipped with a turbo intercooler means 21, fluctuation in intake air amount is detected as fluctuation of intake pressure by a pressure sensor 22. When display pressure of the sensor 22 is at a specified value or less, an accelerator pedal 11 is being stepped down and the speed of an internal combustion engine 1 is in an increasing state, a program control circuit 6 sets and controls an auxiliary acceleration means 20 in a driving state. Namely, required rotation magnetic field is given with a current from a d.c. power source 3 by an inverter unit 4 of the auxiliary acceleration means 20, and thus a cage-shaped inducer 2 is operated as a motor. It is thus possible to give rotation force to the main spindle of an internal combustion engine 1 as auxiliary power. |
