PURPOSE:To miniaturize an illumination section by guiding the light from a light source provided separately from an illumination device with an optical fiber to project it from a light projection section, reflecting it to the opening side of a main body with a reflecting mirror, irregularly reflecting it in a diffusion plate, and radiating it to the outside. CONSTITUTION:Laser light is emitted from a light projection section 40 at various angles via an optical fiber, it is reflected by the reflecting face 50 of a reflecting mirror 48 in the wider direction, and it is irregularly reflected in a diffusion plate 54 and further diffused. The diffusion plate 54 is illuminated nearly uniformly, and an object on the diffusion plate 54 is uniformly illuminated from the rear side. No light source is integrally provided on an illumination device, thus the structure is simplified and can be miniaturized, and the temperature rise based on the heating of the light source can be reduced. |
