<p>PURPOSE:To reduce cell abort attended with reject of a transmission reservation acceptance by adjusting the priority of a cell so as to revise the priority between input ports having been fixed to a cell in a buffer. CONSTITUTION:A reservation table 1712 accepts reservation of a priority cell from a reservation queue 111 and a reservation table 1711 accepts reservation of a non-priority cell. A transmission table 211 has seven buffers, the table 1712 reserves the transmission of the priority cell at a future time 5 and the cell is inputted to a buffer number 5 of the table 211 and sent to a spatial switch 23 after a time equivalent to five cells. The table 1711 reserves the transmission to the non-priority cell at a future time 2 and the cell is inputted to a buffer number 2 of the table 211, and sent to the spatial switch 23 after a time equivalent to two cells. Thus, it is possible to revise the priority between input ports depending on the priority and the abort rate is reduced.</p> |
