摘要 PURPOSE:To suppress the sharp drop of laser efficiency at the time of having elevated the concentration of a laser medium and improve laser efficiency by putting the laser medium solution contact face of a light transmitting window into the shape of having curved outward from both ends positioned on the sides of reflecting members to the center. CONSTITUTION:When an excited beam is applied from a copper steam laser oscillator 14 to a cell 12 through a cylindrical lens 13, it emits an oscillated beam, and also the difference in reflective index resulting from the temperature distribution occurs with laser medium solution 11. As a result, the light path A of the oscillated beam, which reciprocates between reflecting member 15 and 16, curves to be projecting on the side of a light transmitting window 12a within solution 11. In this case, by curving the laser medium solution contact face 12a of the window 12a, corresponding to the curve, the whole of the face 12a and its vicinity can be used as an active region. And the oscillated beam, which is amplified while being reflected along the light path A by the members 15 and 16, pass an output mirror 16, and is output as a laser beam. Accordingly, the sharp drop of the laser efficiency by the existence of a nonactive region at the time of having elevated laser medium is suppressed, and the laser efficiency can be improved.
