PURPOSE:To correspond to recovery action by executing the detection of lead insertion and the bending independently of each other, and bending the lead at the same place after detection of insertion. CONSTITUTION:When a DIP IC 10 is set in the mounting holes 41 of a printed board 40, a lead detection lever 12 is pressed down by the lead 10A, and rotates with the center of a pin 13 as a fulcrum, and the metallic contact 23 of each detection lever 12 separates from a board 24 for detection. Accordingly, if all the leads 10A are inserted normally, the section between electrode terminals 32A and 32B becomes nonconductive, so it judges that insertion is favorable, and shifts to the next clinch action. The clinch action is performed by an ascending/descending rod 8, driven by an air cylinder or the like, going up to open the rear ends of the clinch levers 3 in two pairs with a cam for clinching. In the case that there is insertion inferiority, such recovery action as to pulling out the DIP IC 10 from the printed board 40 and carry it back and bring a new DIP IC 10 can be done with insertion guide. |
