It comprises a device with circular or longitudinal movement on which are fitted bars of a transparent nature and which have dimensions suited to the diameter of the microspheres to be obtained and by means of a time- regulating mechanism said bars are positioned in front of a heat source which is sufficiently intense for the pieces which are intended to be converted into spheres to lose their solidity and to acquire the necessary plasticity to adopt the required spherical shape by surface tension and they then move away from the heat source so that they solidify slowly, transparent spheres being obtained. <IMAGE>
