The patent refers to refrigeration (or heating) installations which function by virtue of the combination of elements producing a Peltier effect and of heat exchangers based on the "heat tubes", which basically consists of: 1) hermetic heat exchanger into which a fluid is introduced at the pressure which is appropriate for its evaporation to occur in the vicinity of the hot zone of the Peltier-effect- producing element; 2) Peltier-effect element; and 3) exchanger, also hermetic, and with characteristics and physical principle which are similar to the first one, which contains a fluid inside it at the pressure which is suitable for, in succession, it to evaporate at a temperature below that of an external fluid or of the ambient medium (closed area to be cooled, in the case of refrigeration installations) and for it to condense by virtue of the cold part of the Peltier-effectproducing element. <IMAGE>
