The invention of an apparatus to hear television and similar transmissions, for persons with auditory prostheses, the invention consisting in the use together of a supply source provided with an appropriate transformer with its corresponding rectifier bridge and fuses, having an input for connection to the electric mains and an output for recharging batteries, a transceiver of the signals transmitted by a conventional sound source, which will retransmit the signal within a radius of 25 metres and will be received by a microradio provided with earphones tuned to the frequency of the transmitter, in which the loudspeakers will be exchanged for a magnetic loop if the user has a retroauricular-type apparatus, utilising these loudspeakers at an appropriate power level if the user has an introcanal-type hearing aid. <IMAGE>
