Improvements made to the object of the main patent No. P- 8800742 for: "Improvements in the production of dressings". The dressing is of the type for surface application on epidermal lesions and incorporating freeze-dried heterologous collagen. In the invention, the collagen, prior to the application thereof in the dressing, is ground until it is in completely powdered form, in which state fibrin is added to it with its complementary amino acids. A completely insoluble solid polyacrylate derivative of great absorbing power is added to the ground freeze-dried collagen in addition to or instead of fibrin. The powdered freeze-dried collagen additive or additives are incorporated into the dressing by means of an adhesive based on polyvinylpyrrolidone for galenical use, such incorporation being in successive layers, in which case the collagen powder will be the last to be incorporated, or else in a single layer made up of the mixture of all the additional products.
