The improvements are particularly applicable to water discharge devices for lavatory cisterns which use such overflows as rods carrying the valve closing off discharge of the liquid. The improvements consist in the arrangement of connection members, equipped with individual opposing necks, in the openings of calibrated tubular portions of predefined lengths, each one of the necks receiving complementary retention or fastening nuts. <IMAGE>
