PURPOSE:To prevent any short-circuit phenomenon and improve a heat exchanging efficiency by a method wherein a suction port and a blowing port are disposed at their opposing positions. CONSTITUTION:When used, a front surface 8 is inclined forwardly under an operation of an electric motor 11 so as to form a substantially V-shaped spacing between it and a rear surface 5. A fan 2 is driven to suck indoor air through the suction port 6 disposed in opposition to the back plate 1. The air is heat exchanged with cold air by the heat exchanger 7, passes through an air flow passage 9, enters a casing part 3 and then the cold air is dispersed into a room through a blowing port 4. When not used, the electric motor 11 is operated and the front plate 10 is moved in advance to the rear surface member 5. The air is sucked through the suction port 6 disposed in opposition to the rear surface member 5 and the air is blown from the blowing port 4 disposed below the front surface of the front surface member 8, so that the air blown from the blowing port 4 is not sucked at once into the suction port 6, but is dispersed into the room, thereby the interior part of the room is cooled. As a result, the heat exchanger 7 has no suction of blown air under a circuit phenomenon and then a heat exchanging efficiency is improved. |
