PURPOSE:To eliminate deviation in coupling and improve brazing between a tube element and a tank unit by a method wherein a tube element is made by symmetrical coupling of two sheets of formed plates and a projected retaining piece is provided at the inflow and outflow side of the formed plate of one part while the retaining piece is positioned at the engaging groove of the other formed plate and is projected between the tube elements. CONSTITUTION:A tube element 3 is made by the symmetrical coupling of two sheets of formed plates 10, 12 and a retaining piece 24 is projected between recesses 14, 16 becoming the inflow and outflow side of one formed plate 10 toward the other formed plate 12 while the engaging groove 26 of the retaining piece 24 of the formed plate 10 is formed by notching a part between the recesses 14, 16 becoming the inflow and outflow side of the other formed plate 12. Mutual positioning between the formed plates 10, 12 can be effected simply and correctly by this coupling whereby the tube element 3 can be constituted with good accuracy. The retaining piece 24, engaged with the engaging groove 26, is projected by a predetermined length and a fin 5 is retained by the projected part. |
