PURPOSE:To certainly obtain an anisotropic conductive film with ease by disposing, an electric insulative high molecular film, rivet type conductors penetrating the film and projecting from the upper and lower sides of the film in a dotted arrangement. CONSTITUTION:In an anisotropic conductor film, metal conductors are projected in a dotted arrangement on an electric insulative high molecular film. The metal conductors penetrate the electric insulative high molecular film in such a manner as to be projected from the upper and lower sides of the film. When the anisotropic conductor is interposed between a glass substrate of a liquid crystal display(LCD) and an FPC or IC, the glass substrate and the FPC or IC are kept insulative from each other by the high molecular film. However, an electrode of the glass substrate and an electrode of the FPC or IC are electrically connected to each other by the contact with the metal conductors and an insulating property from the other electrodes can be certainly secured because the metal conductors are projected from the anisotropic conductor. Therefore, such an advantage can be provided that the intervals and arrangement of the metal conductors can be arbitrarily set.
