PURPOSE:To discharge feed papers that overlap one another without changing this state by detecting the overlap of feed papers if the overlap of feed papers occurs during a period after overlap detection is carried out at first conveying action timing and immediately before conveyance of feed papers is started, and then extracting a print drum from a printing machine. CONSTITUTION:Overlap detection is carried out for feed papers 13 at conveying action timing transmitted from a detection timing generator 9-1 which is capable of stopping the start of the conveyance of the feed papers 13, and overlap detection for the feed papers 13 is carried out again at another conveying action timing transmitted from a detection timing generator 9-2 immediately before the conveyance of the feed papers 13 is started. When the overlap of the feed papers 13 is detected at this second conveying action timing, a print drum is extracted from a printing machine. |
