<p>PURPOSE:To improve the inspecting ability of a software by applying a means which monitors the execution state of a stored software to a microcomputer itself. CONSTITUTION:The microcomputer is equipped with a reload register 6, comparator 7, and related definition flag 10. An address is set through an inside bus in the reload register 6 whose content is capable of being set by a program, and the value is capable of being rewritten by the software. Then, for example, when a breakpoint address is set in the register 6 with 'coincidence' as a comparison addition, the inside state of a microcomputer 1 when the program is executed until the breakpoint address can be monitored. Thus, information such as an inside program progressing condition and an inside registered value or the like can be grasped from the outside in a mounting state for a product.</p> |
