PURPOSE:To prevent head crush and sticking by specifying the surface roughness of a protective layer to a certain range. CONSTITUTION:The surface roughness of a protective layer 5 is specified to the range from 0.01 to 0.05mum. As for the resin composition which constitutes the protective layer 5, any material usually used for a protective layer of optical recording medium can be used without any limitation. For example, a UV-curing type resin compsn. which is hardened by irradiation UV ray, especially a UV- curing type acrylate resin compsn. is preferable. |
