PURPOSE:To effectively and simply prevent the positional relation of lens groups from being destroyed and to obtain effective image formation by driving the 2nd lens group to an objective position based upon relational information storing the position of the 1st lens group. CONSTITUTION:When a zooming operation part 58 is operated, the current position of the 1st group lens 71 is read out from a pulse counter 541. A zooming state is discriminated in accordance with the position of the lens group. Then, the driving objective position of the 1st group lens 71 is outputted in accordance with the position of the lens 71. Then, a CPU 59 calculates and outputs the objective position of the 2nd group lens 72 from a ROM 56 based upon the objective position of the lens 71. Then, the CPU 59 transmits a controlling PWM signal to one of driving circuits 551 to 554 to start the driving of a prescribed lens groups. When zooming operation is already completed, a zooming mode is waited until respective driving circuit drive respective lens groups and the operation of the zooming mode is ended at the time of end in the driving. |
