<p>PURPOSE:To arrange all kinds of paper sheets so that their height and width have exactly the same direction by rotating a rotary roller, which is arranged at a delivery position between carrier tracks and has one or more projections on its outer periphery, in the carrying direction at a higher speed than that of the carrier track. CONSTITUTION:A first carrier track 10 and a second carrier track 20 are rotated in the direction of the arrow at an equal rotary speed V1. A rotary roller 60 is rotated in the same direction as those of the carrier tracks 10 and 20 so that its rotary speed V2 is higher than those of the carrier tracks 10 and 20, i.e., V2>V1. A regular form paper sheet 40, which is upright and is mixed with an irregular paper sheet 50 in a fallen down state and is carried in the direction of B on a carrier belt 12, are fallen down by sweeping their lower ends by means of a projection 61 of the roller 60 at a delivery portion 30, and come in a felled down state and are carried to the carrier track 20 after oriented their height and width to the same direction as those of the paper sheet 50. Because the rotary speed V1 satisfies the condition, V2>V1, the projection 61 of the roller 60 can not have chance to make the paper sheet 50 and 40, which is already in the fallen down state, fall down, and makes the narrow and upright sheet paper 40 alone fall down selectively.</p> |
