PURPOSE:To enable a high speed word line selection by connecting a circuit interruptible element between the output terminal of a decoder and the input terminal of a word line driving circuit. CONSTITUTION:A decoder 102 for receiving an address signal and decoding it, a word line driving circuit 109 for receiving the output signal of the decoder 102 and driving a word line 111, and circuits 105-107 for selecting a redundant word line 108 are equipped, and a signal decoded from the address signal is inputted in the circuit 109 directly driving the word line 111 through the circuit interruptible element of a fuse 104 and so on. In this case when the word line 111 to be selected, for instance, is replaced into the redundant word line 108, the fuse 104 is cut off in advance. Thus, the time from an address input to the selection of the word lines 111 and 108 are executed in a short time. |
