The water tap has a housing (1) which is connected to a pipe (2). The end edge (21) of the pipe (2) is turned inwards over the end flange of a screwed bush (3). This bush (3) is screwed into the screw thread (10) of the smaller diameter of the stepped bore (11) in the top body. The bush (3) presses the turned over edge (21) of the pipe (2) against a conical seat formed in the body to make a pressure tight joint. A circumferential groove is formed around the bush (3) between the end flange and screw thread to receive the turned over edge (21) of the pipe (2). USE - Water taps.
