The rotary printing machine, for printing separate sheets, has a cylinder with a stub shaft (2) projecting from each end. The stub shaft (2) is fitted with two half rings (5) which together form a spherical support surface. These half rings (5) are supported in two outer ring segments (1a, 1b) which have internal spherical surfaces. The inner half rings (5) are secured to the stub shaft (2) by a transverse pin (4) with one end of the pin (4) engaging a radial slot (3) in the upper segment (1a) of the outer support ring.
