In a light-sensitive mixt. of a polymeric diazonium salt (I) and a polymeric binder (II), (II) contains a lateral crosslinking gp. of the formula: -CH2-OR; R = H or a lower alkyl, acyl or hydroxyalkyl gp. Pref. (I) is a diazonium salt polycondensate; pref. with recurring units of the formulae: A-N2X and B; with linking gps., pref. methylene gps.; A = the radical of an aromatic diazonium cpd. which can condense with HCHO; B = the radical of a cpd. free from diazonium gps., which can condense with HCHO, esp. an aromatic amine, phenol, phenol ether, aromatic thioether, aromatic hydrocarbon, aromatic heterocyclic cpd. or organic acid amide.
