The directional antenna of the co-called Gregory type has a main reflector (1) in the form of a non-rotationally symmetric paraboloid and an elliptic reflector (2) positioned in front of a primary emitter (3). The elliptic reflector to cover the main reflector and has a frequency range from 3,4 to 4.2 GHz. An improvement in performance is obtained using an ellipsoid shape having three different half axes (a,b,c).
