PURPOSE:To reduce slide noises while securing advantages possessed by a magnetic head by making the head of a composition in a specified region of an Mn-Zn derrite single crystal loaded with a metal oxide which can be dissolved in it and by specifying the range of its magnetic characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The main constituent should be an Mn-Zn ferrite single crystal whose compositional range is in a range surrounded by four points A(50, 35, 15), B(55, 30, 15), C(57, 18, 25), D(53, 22, 25) [(Fe2O3, MnO, ZnO) mol% each] in a ternary state diagram or an Mn-Zn ferrite single crystal loaded with 0-6wt.% of a metal oxide which can be dissolved in the composition of that range. In addition, the magnetic characteristics factor is restricted so that the initial permeability at 0.5MHz is 700-1000 each, initial permeability at 5MHz is 250-500, a temperature indicating the local maximum on the colder side initial permeability is -50 deg.C or less in the temperature-initial permeability relation at 0.5MHz, and saturation flux density at a magnetic field intensity of 10 oersted is 4500gauss or more. This process can reduce sliding noises. |
