<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate unnaturality in the movement adaptive processing with simple circuit constitution by inputting a picture component in an (m/2-1)- preceding field to a moving picture system processing circuit and applying moving vector correction to a phase of a picture in an (m/2-1)-preceding field. CONSTITUTION:The interpolation phase of an in-field interpolation circuit 13 and an inter-field interpolation filter 52 is controlled by using a subsample clock subject to one field delay through the provision of one field delay devices 47,48 and an inter-frame subsample control circuit 53. Then the moving picture system processing is implemented by using a signal in an (m/2-1)-preceding field (m is a positive integer) and when moving vector correction is applied, reverse moving vector correction is applied with respect to the moving vector correction between fields so as to make a phase of the moving picture system and the still picture system coincident with a phase of a picture in the (m/2-1)- preceding field. Thus, the unnaturality in the movement adaptive processing is solved with simple circuit constitution.</p> |
