Robotic grinder control for treatment of flawed surfaces - producing rotationally symmetric depressions with continuous smooth transitions into untreated metal areas of highly stressed components
摘要
The surface is machined by a spherical contact roller around which an abrasive band is driven (SBA) while the system is subjected to additional rotation (SGC) about a vertical axis through the centre of contact. Both rotational speeds are measured independently by crack initiators (SI) on driving and tensioning rollers (AR,SR). The measurement pulses are shaped (TS) and applied to a computer (DS) producing control signals for the two drives (SBA,SGC) and for the delivery movement (SGZ). ADVANTAGE - Process controllability is improved with guaranteed surface quality and geometry in shorter treatment time by an integrated measurement and control system.
