The vehicle air conditioning unit housing (1) has an evaporator (3) sited in the airflow near to a housing drain outlet (6). The evaporator is connected via a cooling fluid circuit to a condenser (9), fixed outside the housing over the drain outlet. Some cool air thus passes from the unit, through the drain outlet and over the condenser. USE/ADVANTAGE - No additional fan is necessary for the condenser airflow.
