Multi-stage crystallisation plant is arranged in parallel w.r.t. process soln. supply. Suspension of molten liquor and crystallisate is heated and crystallisate is continuously withdrawn by an overflow arrangement into the next unit. Supply lines for fresh process soln. are led into the immediately preceding crystalliser, entering the inlet reservoir and forming part of the overflow to the succeeding unit. ADVANTAGE - Encrustation of supply lines is avoided.
