PURPOSE:To quickly grasp the contents of each item and also to express such information that can not be expressed only by the graphics, the character strings, etc., by displaying the data necessary for users on a display of a work station as the image data. CONSTITUTION:The work stations 10, 11 and 12 are connected to each other via a LAN cable 2 in order to form a local area network called 'Ethernet'. A file server 3, a print server 4, etc., can be applied in common to the stations 10-12. At these stations a processor 1c processes the data and stores them as prescribed based on those data inputted via a keyboard 1a and a mouse 1b or transmitted through the cable 2 and the data processing results, etc., are displayed on a display 1d. In this case, several display units are enclosed by a single window frame on the display 1d, and several these windows can be displayed at one time.
