The secondary air feed control consists of a throttle ring to surround a section of the flame tube coaxially by a casing tube, and a deflector which moves the ring to control the ports (9) round the casing tube. In the perforated section (8), the casing tube (5) has a spherical surface (7) on which the throttle ring (13) is pivoted via two journals (15) in the centre circumference of the tube section. The throttle ring has a spherical inside surface (14) to close the air ports. USE/ADVANTAGE - For gas turbine burner control, with simple design for preventing frictional motion of the throttle ring.
