<p>PURPOSE:To cope with two tape cassettes whose external forms are different by making at least one of a light emitting element and a light receiving element turnable, and turning the light emitting element or the light receiving element in accordance with a difference of the external form of the tape cassette. CONSTITUTION:When a large tape cassette 1 is loaded and a light emitting element 2 is turned on, an emitted light (a) reaches a prescribed position 1a on the surface of the body of th large tape cassette 1, becomes a reflected light (b) by an optical reflection factor of a prescribed position and is made incident on a light receiving element 3, and the light receiving element 3 is excited. Subsequently, in the case a small tape cassette 11 is loaded, an emitted light (c) irradiates by placing the light emitting element 2 so that a prescribed position 11a on the surface of the body is in an effective light emission angle of the light emitting element 2. The light receiving element 3 is turned by detecting a difference of the external form of the large tape cassette tape cassette 1 and the small tape cassette 11, and a reflected light (d) is made incident on the light receiving element 3 and the light receiving element 3 is excited.In such a way, it is possible to cope with two tape cassettes whose external forms are different.</p> |
