<p>PURPOSE:To exceedingly improve the color purity of each color filter by preventing the incidence that light shieldable colored layers remain on existing color filters. CONSTITUTION:A red resin layer 35 formed by dispersing a red pigment into a photosensitive resin material is applied on a glass substrate 22 in a stage I. An oxygen barrier film 36 is formed in a stage II. The substrate 22 is irradiated with light by using a mask 38R for red in such a manner that only the forming regions 37R to be formed with the color filters 26R are irradiated with the light, by which the red resin layer 35R is exposed in a stage III. The layer is thereafter subjected to developing and baking, by which the color filters 26R are formed. The stages I to III are repeated by using the green resin layer 35G formed by using a green pigment in a stage IV. The stages I to III are repeated by using the blue resin layer 35B in a stage V. The pigment concns. are suppressed in the later stages according to the production sequence of the color filters, by which the amt. of the pigments remaining on the exiting color filters when the layers are exposed and developed is suppressed as far as possible.</p> |
