PURPOSE:To easily find out required information by varying a display form of bulletin board information in response to freshness of the bulletin board information. CONSTITUTION:Plural user work stations 3-5 used daily by the user on which the bulletin board information is displayed are connected to a bulletin board information server 1 managing the bulletin board information and offering a retrieval service function on request via a network 2 and a large sized information display device 15 is connected to the bulletin board information server 1. The bulletin board information server 1 always discriminates an elapsed time after the bulletin board information is displayed, that is, the freshness of the information and the bulletin board information is displayed in a form in response to its novelty. For example, new information is displayed in bright characters and older information is displayed in darker characters, and the more contemporary the information is, the more remarkably it is displayed. Thus, the required information is acquired efficiently.
