PURPOSE:To make luminaire flat, thin and compact with reduced parts while enabling a reflection plate to serve as a chassis by mounting an inverter putting on unit on the top surface of the plate, and covering it with a detachable cover. CONSTITUTION:A case 4 of lighting unit 1 is mounted on a reflection plate 36, power and load wires 27, 29 pulled in from wire pulling-out ports 39, 40 are connected to terminal bases 23, 24. Wiring is thus carried out in a wiring space 38 on the back side of reflection plate 36. The reflection plate 36 is fixed to a surface to be mounted 47 of such as ceiling by means of screws 48. An engaging part 33 of a cover 31 is engaged with and mounted on an engaging edge 34 of a case 4 to cover the unit 1. A lamp fitted in a lamp socket 42 is arranged along both sides of the cover 31. Upon packing, just performing positioning on the top surface of the reflection plate 36 after removing the socket 42, packing can be made without increasing the height. In this way the reflection plate 36 serves as a chassis so that flatness and thinness can be attained. |
