摘要 PURPOSE:To make ejection of ink drops feasible at constant stable speed even under driving at varied frequency by a method wherein liquid in a supplementary pressure passage is supplied to the nozzle-side end of a parallel passage with a pressure part for supply of the liquid driven synchronizing with a pressure part for discharge of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:As a pressure part 2a2 for supply of liquid is constructed as a part of a piezoelectric element 2 that is made integral with a pressure part 2a1 for discharge of the liquid, it is driven simultaneously with the pressure part 2a1, and applies the pressure to a supplementary pressure passage 10a. As a supplementary supply passage 10b communicats with an ink passage 3a at a place 10c near a nozzle 6a, supply of the ink after discharge of ink drops is made by supplying the ink that is pressurized in the supplementary pressure passage 10a from the place 10c near the nozzle 6a through the supplementary supply passage 10b, while being made through the ink passage 3a. Therefore, with shapes for these supplementary pressure passage 10a and supplementary supply passage 10b selected in accordance with required quantity of the ink supply, stabilized supply of the ink can be ensured even at the time of high-frequency driving. The situation in the case of low-frequency driving is the same as above.
