PREPARATION OF ELASTIC MOUNT APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To make it possible to make the thickness of a cylindrical part thin and to attempt to make an apparatus lightweight by a method wherein a rubber is guided to the outer peripheral face side of an outer cylindrical member when the rubber is cast under pressure and the outer peripheral face of the outer cylindrical member is pressed inside. CONSTITUTION:Cavities 21 and 22 are communicated through a clearance 23 formed between the lower part of a top force 18 and the upper part of an outer peripheral member and a feeding path 24 formed on the top force 18 is opened in the cavity 21 for molding and a feeding path 25 formed on the top force 18 is opened in the cavity 22 for pressure balance. A liq. rubber is cast in the cavities 21 and 22 from the feeding paths 24 and 25 and the rubber in the cavities 21 and 22 are vulcanized and adhered to mold a mount rubber 14 and a rubber 16. Casting of the rubber in the cavities is performed approximately at the same time and for the same time and a pressure of the rubber in the cavity 21 works on the inner peripheral face of the outer cylindrical member 12 and a pressure of the rubber in the cavity 22 works on the outer peripheral face. As the result, the worked pressures are balanced and too large stress is not generated in the outer cylindrical member 12 and it is possible to make the thickness of the outer cylindrical member 12 thin and to attempt to make it lightweight.
