<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a main signal recording band and to restrain the deterioration in the S/N of a regenerative signal and a pilot signal by arranging two heads equipped with the gap of azimuth angles different each other on the electric-machine conversion actuator of a rotation cylinder while making the height differ by nearly 1 track pitch. CONSTITUTION:Two heads 1A/1B with different azimuth angles are arranged on one electric-machine conversion actuator 4 while making the height differ by one track pitch, two kinds of pilot signals are recorded on the main signal of one head and the main signal is recorded on the the other head at the time of recording the cross talk component from the adjacent tracks of right and left reproduced by the other head are separated and extracted to be compared, and outputs tracking error amount. The pilot signal reproduced by one head are extracted, tracking error direction is obtained, the tracking error amount is generated from this tracking error direction to be supplied to the actuator 4. Thus, the reduction of the main signal recording band and the deterioration of the S/N of the pilot signal can be restrained.</p> |
