Surgical instrument for cutting through bones - incorporates double-sided oscillating saw blade driven via pin and slot mechanism

The surgical instrument is esp. used for cutting through bones. The instrument resembles a dentist's drill but with an oscillating saw blade instead of a drill bit. The instrument has a head (A) in the form of a housing with a guide for the oscillating blade. This housing has a dovetail groove to receive a cover. By using a saw blade of appropriate design, either a linear or an angular oscillating motion can be imparted to the saw blade. The saw blade is double sided so that it can cut in either direction.
