PURPOSE:To sustain operation with lowered operating level by outputting a signal notifying overheat of motor when the internal temperature of the motor increases due to overload and reaches an alarm level. CONSTITUTION:A temperature signal 3a from a temperature sensor 3 for a motor 2 is fed, together with a speed command signal 12 and a torque command signal 13, to a multiplexer 14 and then converted through an A/D converter 15 into digital signals. A speed feedback signal 4a is fed from a rotary encoder 4 coupled directly with the motor 2 to a CPU 18 through a pulse counter 17 and a bus 16 and subjected to temperature correction with motor constants and other necessary control/processing and then fed, as a current command signal 9a, to a current controller 10 through a D/A converter 20. When the internal temperature of the motor 2 exceeds an alarm level 21a, the CPU 18 provides a signal 18a to an output means 22 and a motor overheat alarm signal 22a to the outside. |
