DEVICE FOR RESTRICTING OFFSET SECTION OF POWER CABLE

PURPOSE:To assemble the offset section of a power cable in a short time with a less number of processes by fixing short pipes which have inside diameters slightly larger than the outside diameter of the power cable and are separately put on the cable at prescribed intervals along the exponential curve of the offset section in a bending dislocation allowing manner to a structure. CONSTITUTION:A power cable 2 drawn into a duct line 1 protrudes from the man-hole side wall 3 of the duct line 1 and is bent to a bow-like shape at a prescribed design curvature which does not exceed the allowable bend radius of the cable itself and forms an offset section 4. Then such a restricting device 9 that surrounds and supports the section 4 and maintains the offset shape by allowing the bend deformation caused by the thermal expansion and shrinkage at the time of power supply within a fixed range is provided. The device 9 is constituted of guide pipes 12, 12, 12 which are put on and surround the power cable. The guide pipes 12 are fixed in such a state where the pipes 12 are put on the cable bent at points along the exponential curve of the offset section 4.
