<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize this device by inserting a cartridge in the state of exposing a part to the outside, and processing the information of an optical disk in such a state. CONSTITUTION:The head part of an optical disk cartridge 3 is opposed to an inserting port 2 in the main body 1 of the device, and the cartridge 3 is pushed into the inserting port 2. A lid body 6 of the inserting port 2 is turned inside against energizing force with a supporting mechanism 7 as a center and opened. When inserting the cartridge further inside to this state, the car tridge 3 is guided along a guide 8t the inside of a holding case 5. When the cartridge 3 is inserted to the prescribed position of the holding case 5, it is detected by a detector not shown in the figure. The holding case 5 is moved in a direction perpendicular to the face of the disk and set at an information processing position. Since the insertion is completed in the state of exposing a part to the outside without inserting the entire cassette 3 in the main body 1 of the device and the information is processed, it is not necessary to secure a wide space for the cartridge 3 in the main body 1 of the device, and the main body 1 of the device can be miniaturized.</p> |
