PURPOSE:To execute the picture freeze processing, the repair processing and the print processing mode with one coding processing by adopting digital processing for decoding of an RGB data and picture correction processing. CONSTITUTION:An input video signal y/c is converted into a luminance data Y and a chrominance data C via an analog demodulation circuit 104 and an A/D converter 101. The data are stored from a prescribed area of a picture memory 102 in a prescribed sequence. A freeze data in the picture memory 102 is read under the address management almost in response to the operation of a video signal and transferred to an RGB decoder 1. A correction data is transferred to a D/A converter 103 under the control of a control circuit 4 and an analog modulation circuit 107 generates and outputs a monitor video signal y/c from a decoded signal. In this case, a video signal in compliance with the NTSC system is formed by adding a synchronizing signal (m) or the like recovered by a clock recovery circuit 3. The user references the monitor video image, the control circuit 4 applies correction processing to the video image and desired picture quality is obtained. |
