PURPOSE:To improve success rate of retry feeding of such as paper currency after occurrence of feed error by subjecting the driving current value to variation control at the time of retry. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1 controls the operation of a pulse motor 5 based on a forward/reverse signal 10 and an excitation ON signal 11 of a pulse motor 5. In order to set the driving current at the time of excitation ON, resistance in an electronic volume 4 is selected based on the data on an I/O data bus 8 and a voltage corresponding to the variation of voltage division ratio with respect to a resistor 12 is fed to the driving current setting terminal 6 of a pulse motor driver 3. Any one of transistors Tr1-Trn is turned ON according to the decoding results and the pulse motor driver 3 is controlled based on the voltage division ratio between the resistor 12 and any one of resistors R1-Rn. In other words, driving current to be applied to the pulse motor 5 is subjected to variation control by varying the voltage division ratio of the resistor. |
