PURPOSE:To reduce the dimension of a tool adapter having a planetary roller boosting mechanism built in by reducing the length in the rotary shaft direction by bearing-supporting a tool installation part on both the sides in the rotary shaft axis line direction, setting a fitting hole as intermediate position in the center hole in a rotary part and forming a sun roller part in the intermediate part. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 50 as tool installation part is fitted in turnable manner in the center hole 4 of a hollow shaft part 1 through roller bearings 51 and 52, and the hollow shaft part 1 is supported in turnable manner on a fixed part through roller bearings 10 and 11, and a planetary roller 7 is installed in rotatable manner through a needle-shaped roller bearing 9 on a driving pin 8. Between the inner race 51b of the roller bearing 51 and the inner race 52b of the roller bearing 52, a sun roller part 53 formed on the rotary shaft 50 externally contacts the planetary roller 7, and a planetary roller boosting mechanism is constituted of a wheel-shaped fixed oribital plane 32, planetary roller 7, and the sun roller part 53. |
